The technical story
Two lots can assay identically and behave nothing alike. Thermal history, not assay, decides how a grade performs, and our per-lot verification captures it, so the certificate describes how the material behaves rather than only what is in it.
Citric acid reactivity. Fewer seconds means faster, and faster means less material to reach the same effect.
High surface area closes the speed gap against caustic soda, and the pH caps itself near 9 to 10.5 instead of running past 12.

At the loading halogen-free flame retardancy needs, particle size and shape decide whether the compound survives it.
